With it's long-term perspective, HMV will be exploring ways to get in the ground floor with methane hydrate exploration and drilling. Current options are not extensive, but HMV has added to its position in Statoil (STO), a Norwegian company with expertise in deep drilling (as well as the construction of off-shore wind farms). STO is a firm that truly has the knowledge harness this potential resource.
